On occasion you may need to place a child with just an hour's notice, that's why we offer a 24-hour emergency helpline. We recognise these first few hours are vital for a young person to feel safe.

24-Hour collection from anywhere in the UK*

As part of our emergency support package, we are able to collect a young person from anywhere within the UK We can only offer collection from Northern Ireland where availability of ferries allow.

Overnight emergency accommodation & provision**

We offer an on site bedroom, located near our staff quarters. The room can accommodate three young people and is designed to help children feel safe and comfortable. Each young person who is placed in this emergency accommodation is provided with an overnight accommodation pack. (These places are also subject to availability, we only have facility to provide three emergency beds, so if they are at full capacity then we will be unable to take any further placements until a bed becomes available again.) **Subject to availability

At the Adelaide Group we are here to help the minute you need us. We recognise that the first few hours after arrival in the UK are critical, and implementing the correct response is vital in order for a young person to feel safe.
